Cancellation policy.
We know plans change. Here is exactly what happens if yours do, written plainly, with no surprises.
More than 30 days before check-in
100% refundCancel any time up to 30 days before your arrival date and you will receive a full refund of everything paid, including the deposit.
14 to 30 days before check-in
50% refundCancel between 14 and 30 days before arrival and we will refund 50% of the total booking value.
Less than 14 days before check-in
No refundCancellations made within 14 days of check-in are non-refundable, as the dates are unlikely to rebook on short notice.
The fine print
- Deposit. The deposit paid at booking follows the schedule above.
- Balance payment. If you have already paid the remaining balance, the same tiers apply to the total amount paid.
- How refunds are issued. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of cancellation.
- Date changes. Where availability allows, we will happily move your dates instead of cancelling. Just reply to your booking confirmation.
- Exceptional circumstances. Serious illness, bereavement or travel restrictions affecting Madeira directly. Get in touch and we will do right by you.
- Host cancellation. In the unlikely event we need to cancel, you will receive a full refund and help finding an alternative.
